As principal in the Bay Area firm Multi-Innovation, he is an inventor first, with over 160 patents & provisional disclosures.  He has co-founded and sold successful companies and led advanced technology teams of researchers, developers, and marketers at two global icons. His work has directly generated innovations and protected hundreds of millions in profits. Silverman is a strategic, trusted advisor to attorneys, M & A specialists, and entrepreneurial CEOs, as well as an esteemed speaker and mentor. Nicole Fucile

Technology Analyst & Patent Strategist

As a technology analyst, Nicole Fucile plays a central role in the organization’s innovative work developing strategic patent portfolios for its clients. Nicole is a technology analyst, patent strategist, and an innovative thinker. She draws on her training and experience in biotech, biology, chemistry, and veterinary medicine when applying her skills and knowledge to developing essential patents in her respective fields. Her openminded outlook enables her to collaborate with partners across the Multi-Innovation network, bringing her unique perspective to each of the innovations and patent portfolios the organization creates for its clients.

Mia Powell

Analyst, Project Manager

Mia brings over 12 years of experience in residential property management and business administration to her work as Analyst and Project Manager for Multi-Innovation. She is responsible for project management of marketing and sales activities, events and presentations, and for coordinating special projects across the team. Mia brings a keen eye to detail and planning, ensuring that the whole team is well informed and that projects are delivered on time and within the allocated budget. Her depth of experience in customer relationship management are also an essential ingredient to her work with clients and other interested parties who contact Multi-Innovation. She is the proud mother of two children, who keep her on her toes and far too busy with sports activities and donuts.

Annie O’ Connor

Chief Client Officer | milk+honey

Annie’s experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives for some of the world’s largest commercial and philanthropic organizations leaves her exceptionally well qualified to identify and shape AI-related business strategy. Formal training in gender studies from The Colorado College and international relations at UC California imbues her natural optimism with healthy doses of pragmatism and a truly global perspective. Living and working in some of the most challenging environments for business has taught her how to simultaneously communicate change and advocate for those most affected by it. Annie’s ability to connect with senior leaders and front-line workers alike makes her an ideal point of contact throughout a client’s engagement with milk+honey.

Steven has more than 25 years experience in the technology industry. He has founded and served on the management teams of several startups. Steve has also contributed to a variety of technology fields, including superconductivity, digital communications, and biosensors, at organizations such as Philips Research and Quantum Corp. He has M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in condensed matter physics from the University of Illinois, and a B.S. degree in physics, summa cum laude, from Tufts University. He was also a visiting scholar at Stanford University in the electrical engineering department. Steve holds 18 patents, and has authored over 35 publications. He is registered patent agent who has written more than 1,500 patents for startups and Fortune 500 companies, including the first patents for the iPhone.

Howard Edelman

CEO | Advanced Resin Therapeutics

Howard Edelman is a medical device executive accomplished in all phases of medical product development and operations in a variety of organizational structures. Current, Mr. Edelman is CEO of Advanced Resin Therapeutics, a broad-based drug delivery platform based on medical grade plant resins. Previously, Mr. Edelman was General Manager of Cothera, a division of United Orthopedic Group, a global orthopedic company which provides medical devices and patient services into the secondary orthopedic market. Cothera was recently purchased by Breg in November of 2014. Mr. Edelman advises a variety of medical device and biotech companies and is an Expert Advisor with the California Life Sciences Association (BayBio), a mentor at the UCSF Lean Launchpad, and a coach at the Alchemist Accelerator. He is also co-chair of the medical device and digital health screening committee of Life Science Angels, the premier angel investment group investing in medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and digital health.

Brent has more than 30 years experience advising, representing and managing businesses as a principal, executive, consultant and/or lawyer. He has worked with every size organization- from start up to NYSE listed corporations. He specializes in Strategic Growth Planning, Organizational Development and Executive Leadership. He has substantial experience in helping organizations and leaders navigate change throughout the business lifecycle, including M&A transactions. He has a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law, and a B.A. in Economics Cum Laude from University of California, Davis.
